Marick Lewaii is a puerto-rican singer-songwriter and musician with roots from the Virgin Islands and Antigua. The bilingual artist sings a variety of genres, yet her goal is to bring to the urban industry her Caribbean, afro-latin heat in a unique way.
"Higher than the Skies Above"
In 2019 Marick debuted as a solo artist with her first single "Skies Above", a bilingual song with elements from puerto-rican culture mixed with latin-urban and a tropical vibe. Also containing the famous bomba & plena chorus "Fuego fuego en Bucana" from the honorable Rafael Cepeda Atiles, recognized as "The Patriarch of the Bomba & Plena" a traditional dance and musical style of Puerto Rico. With this song she got the chance to sing at the same event as the rapper Rafa Pabón for the television series "No me Compares" where she also played a role as the pianist of the serie’s band.

She was a finalist in a Sony Music Contest for Singer-songwritters and got the chance to present her second single “Mirala” at the largest Convention Center in the Caribbean, located in Puerto Rico. And presented on the same event as other famous artists such as Los Rivera Destino, Viva Nativa, Andrea Cruz, Misa de Gallo and more.
